Answers to my most frequently asked and answered questions.

What is a wedding coordinator?

A wedding coordinator is a wedding professional who comes in towards the end of your planning to take over and help coordinate and execute the details of your wedding day- I take the wedding that you’ve planned and make it happen.

I make sure all of your hard work comes to life while you enjoy your wedding day.

This service is often referred to by other titles, including day of wedding coordinator, bridal coordinator, month of wedding coordinator, and wedding management.

“Day of” coordinator is a bit of a misnomer, we'll actually collaborate before your wedding day to make sure everything is perfectly prepared.

A lot of what I do happens before the wedding, the coordination. This involves a review of everything that you’ve planned, discussed, and chosen. It allows me to find any holes or missing pieces and work with you to fix them. Working with you before your big day is also crucial for me to get all the information I need to truly understand how you would like your day to unfold.

Why is a wedding coordinator beneficial?

A wedding coordinator enables the couple, wedding party, parents and guests to just enjoy the wedding day without having to worry about managing any of the logistics (the vendors, setup, teardown or any issues that arise).

If you chose to plan your wedding by yourself (like I did), having a day of wedding coordinator to manage all of the vendors, setup and tear-down, the day of timeline, etc., can be really helpful (someone has to do all of this, and it’s nice for you to not have to think twice about it).

A wedding coordinator can also ensure there aren’t any missing pieces at your wedding that might have been overlooked (which is totally understandable, after all, you’re not a wedding coordinator).

What doesn't a wedding
coordinator do?

A wedding coordinator is not a wedding planner. Meaning: A wedding planner is often involved with planning your wedding from the beginning. They plan all aspects of the wedding from vendors to design.

On the other hand, a wedding coordinator focuses on the final coordination (dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s of the plans that have already been put in place) nearing the wedding day and the implementation of the plan on the day.

Do you offer other services?

Yes! In addition to my wedding coordination services, I offer a Decorating Direction package. This service is perfect for couples who already have their decor and vision in place but want everything styled, set up, and packed away with care — so your day looks exactly as you imagined, without asking friends or family to handle the details

Which package should we choose?

I offer three packages: Decorating Direction ($400), Day-Of Direction ($675), and Full-Circle Direction ($975). For a full description of each package, checkout my Services Page -  but here's a brief overview to help guide you:

Decorating Direction focuses solely on bringing your decor vision to life. It’s designed for couples who already feel comfortable managing timelines, vendors, and the flow of the day themselves (or through someone they designate).

If you’re looking for hands-on support beyond decor — such as managing your schedule, overseeing vendors, coordinating your ceremony, or ensuring the day runs smoothly from beginning to end — either Day-of Direction or Full-Circle Direction may be a better fit.

These services pick up all of the logistics that Decorating Direction doesn’t cover, including:

  • Wedding day timeline support

  • Confirming details with vendors

  • Managing the schedule

  • Running the rehearsal

  • Guiding the wedding party

  • Handling unexpected issues

  • Directing the ceremony

  • Overseeing the full flow of the day

Each service simply meets different needs. Some couples just want their decor styled beautifully. Others want full support from the moment they begin getting ready straight through to the evening. And some prefer ongoing guidance throughout their planning process.

Whatever level of support you choose, my goal is always the same: a wedding day that feels calm, intentional, and unmistakably you.
