Your wedding day deserves to feel effortless, intentional, and beautifully pulled together. My Decorating Direction service is perfect for couples who already have their decor and vision in place but want everything styled, placed, and packed with genuine care. This service lets you enjoy your morning and be fully present, knowing your space will look exactly as you imagined—without asking family, friends, or the wedding party to handle setup or teardown. What You Can Expect - Before the wedding, you’ll complete a Decor Intake Form outlining your items, style inspiration, and layout preferences. I’ll review your plan and confirm setup details with your venue so everything is smooth and clear. - On the wedding day, I use the décor you’ve prepared (in any containers that work for you) and bring your vision to life with thoughtful styling. You’ll receive a few progress photos so you can relax and enjoy getting ready. Decorating Direction Includes: Preparation Before the Wedding - Decor Intake Form - Review of decor plan, layouts, and setup needs - Confirmation of venue access requirements for set-up and tear-down Wedding Day Setup I arrive based on venue availability (night before or day-of) to set up décor such as: - Light ceremony arch styling (simple drape, signage, florals you provide) - Ceremony details (programs, welcome signage, small aisle décor) - Guest book, gift, cake/dessert, and memory table styling - Table décor for up to 12 guest tables + sweetheart table - Centrepieces, candles, menus, table numbers, and other small décor items Post-Wedding Tear-Down & Pack-Up - Full décor tear-down - Careful packing of all items into your containers - Décor can be left at the venue, loaded into a designated vehicle, or returned to you the next day What’s Not Included: This service does not include: - Furniture setup or movement - Elaborate drapery, lighting, or any ladder-required installations - Floral arranging beyond simple bud vases and placement - Oversized or complex installations - Transitioning items from ceremony to reception (available as an add-on) Add-On Options - Early morning setup (before 8am) - Next-day pack-up - Décor pickup and transport - Ceremony-to-reception décor transition (“room flip”) - Multiple-location setup - Heavy or oversized décor (quoted individually) Please note: This package does not include wedding coordination. A $50 travel fee applies for weddings more than 2 hours outside of Ottawa, Ontario.
