There’s something so magical about sneaking around the house on Christmas Eve—quietly stuffing stockings with little surprises that make the morning feel extra special. If I were packing my kids’ stockings tonight, these are exactly the kinds of things I’d choose.

I always look for items that are reasonably priced, actually useful, and (best of all) come in multi-packs so I can easily divide them among multiple kids. Stockings don’t have to be expensive to be fun and practical… and honestly, the small everyday things are often the biggest hits.

Below, I’ve included a space where you can find my itemized list of stocking stuffer ideas, complete with links so you can shop quickly and save the inspiration for later.

Why I Love These Types of Items

1. They’re affordable.

Stockings shouldn’t cost more than the actual presents under the tree. I try to keep things low-cost but high-impact.

2. They get used — not tossed.

I’m all for fun, but I’m also a mom… which means I’m over random junk. I want things my kids will actually use, play with, or wear.

3. Multipacks = easy for multiple kids.

If an item comes in two, three, or five, I can split them across stockings without having to reinvent the wheel for each child.

4. They build excitement without overwhelming.

Stocking gifts are like appetizers for the main event — small, simple, and fun.
